Goodday! I need a variety of different storage boxes. sometimes it is for the basement (toys), sometimes it is in the kitchen. Now a days it is for the kids school stuff. Crayons, pencils, tape, scissors, glue sticks, markers etc.
The answer lies in Pringle chip boxes!
All I needed was some clear tape,White duck tape, Pringle chip boxes, plain paper (could also be gift paper or textured paper), stickers (decals left overs) Scissors and glue. I cut up the paper in 2 halves and stuck it on as best as I could to cover up the Pringle box.
The glue just makes the paper stick to itself and not to the tin. I used the duct tape (of which I had white tape) to tape paper to the tin base.
The next step was to make sure the paper does not tear with frequent usage.
I taped portion where the plastic cover goes on top with clear tape. I tested the box to ensure it still closed ok👍. I also duct taped the inside of the box and paper for good measure.
So, the last step was to ensure the decals ( stickers) is stuck on neatly.
The entire process took me 15 minutes in total for 3 boxes. I did it as fast as I could, but I got the neat little storage boxes I was looking for to store the bits and bobs.
I recently spiced up our yard with a hanging decoration made with pringle chip box, toilet roll cardboard end and an empty thread spool.
