Need banners, but don't want to shop?

The quarantine has been a tricky time for all of us. We are reminded what life will be like with time on hands but no where to go.

Recently my boys turned 4 and more than them I wanted a party for it.

So, the first thought was....what makes you feel like you are in a party? The vibe, the decor etc etc.

So I started going a little crazy digging up prior birthday decoration ( oh yeah I hoard them for memories sake 😬).

Anyhow, I needed a birthday banner and I came upon this beautiful website for banners on Pinterest. so we made our own banner and our own little party decor with all that I could scavenge. The best part was the lacing of the banner, I made holes in it with a hand held hole puncher and they laced the satin through the holes. Perfect task for 4 year olds! We even brightened the words with dot-a-dot markers.
